    How to obtain HAR file in Google Chrome

    Ensure that you are on the latest version of the browser. To download the latest version, please click on the browser icon above. 

    1. In Chrome, go to the page where the HTTP(s) URL Sequence needs to be monitored.

    2. At the top-right of your browser window, click the Chrome menu and select More Tools → Developer Tools, or simply press the F12 button. The Developer Tools window opens as a docked panel at the side or bottom of Chrome.

    3. Click the Network tab.

    4. Enable Preserve log.

    5. You will see a red circle on the top-left side of the Network tab. This means the capture has started. If the circle is black, click the black circle to start the recording activity in your browser.

    6. Now refresh the page and perform the necessary website transaction activity that needs to be monitored.

    7. After successfully performing the web transaction activity, right-click on any row of the activity pane and select Save all as HAR with Content or click the Export HAR icon to download the HAR file.

    How to obtain HAR file in Firefox

    Ensure that you are on the latest version of the browser. To download the latest version, please click on the browser icon above. 

    1. In Firefox, go to the page where the HTTP(s) URL Sequence needs to be monitored.

    2. Click the Firefox menu available at the top-right of your browser window and select Web Developer → Network, or simply press the F12 button. The Developer Tools window opens as a docked panel at the side or bottom of Firefox.

    3. Click the Network tab.

    4. Click on Network Settings and enable Persist Logs.

    5. Now refresh the page and perform the necessary website transaction activity that needs to be monitored.

    6. After successfully performing the web transaction activity, right-click on any row of the activity pane and select Save all as HAR or click the Export HAR icon and select Save all as HAR to download the HAR file.

    How to obtain HAR file in Safari

    Ensure that you are on the latest version of the browser. To download the latest version, please click on the browser icon above. 

    1. In Safari, go to the page where the HTTP(s) URL Sequence needs to be monitored.

    2. Enable Developers Tool: Safari > Preferences > Advance > Click Show Develop menu in menu bar

    3. In the menu bar at the top, click Develop and select Show Web Inspector.

    4. Click the Resources tab and enable Preserve Logs.

    5. Go to the Network tab.

    6. Now refresh the page and perform the necessary website transaction activity that needs to be monitored.

    7. After successfully performing the web transaction activity, right-click on any row of the activity pane and select "Copy All as HAR". This will put all the request info on the clipboard,

    8. Create a new text file with the extension “.har” in notepad and paste in the text. Save the file and email it to us for analysis.

    How to obtain HAR file in new Microsoft Edge (Chromium)

    Ensure that you are on the latest version of the browser. To download the latest version, please click on the browser icon above. 

    1. In Microsoft Edge, go to the page where the HTTP(s) URL Sequence needs to be monitored.

    2. At the top-right of your browser window, click the Edge menu and select More Tools → Developer Tools, or simply press the F12 button. The Developer Tools window opens as a docked panel at the side or bottom of Microsoft Edge.

    3. Click the Network tab.

    4. Deselect the Clear entries on navigate option, which is selected by default.

    5. The green play button (Start Profiling Session), should be selected by default. This means the capture function is running.

    6. Now refresh the page and perform the necessary website transaction activity that needs to be monitored.

    7. After successfully performing the web transaction activity, click the Export as HAR icon and download the HAR file.

    How to obtain HAR file in Brave

    Ensure that you are on the latest version of the browser. To download the latest version, please click on the browser icon above. 

    1. In Brave, go to the page where the HTTP(s) URL Sequence needs to be monitored.

    2. Click the Brave menu at the top-right of your browser window and select More Tools → Developer Tools, or simply press the F12 button. The Developer Tools window opens as a docked panel at the side or bottom of Brave.

    3. Click the Network tab.

    4. Enable Preserve log.

    5. You will see a red circle on the top-left side of the Network tab. This means the capture has started. If the circle is black, click the black circle to start the recording activity in your browser.

    6. Now refresh the page and perform the necessary website transaction activity that needs to be monitored.
